As a GE Appliances Financial Analyst (Accounts Receivable) you’ll play a key role in supporting GE Appliances' financial operations through accurate accounting, insightful analysis, and continuous process improvement. In this role, you'll manage critical Accounts Receivable accounting activities, prepare financial reporting, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and help drive working capital performance. You'll leverage data, technology, and analytical thinking to support informed business decisions, strengthen financial controls, and identify opportunities to improve processes in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Position

- Performs monthly accounting activities, account reconciliations, and financial analysis for assigned Accounts Receivable balance sheet accounts to support accurate financial reporting and effective internal controls.
- Prepares journal entries and account reconciliations, investigating and resolving reconciling items in a timely manner.
- Supports GE Appliances' working capital objectives by executing Accounts Receivable activities, including customer factoring, cash application analysis, and aging performance monitoring.
- Prepares and maintains Accounts Receivable reporting, including monthly close packages, KPI dashboards, concessions reporting, bad debt analysis, and other financial metrics used by Finance leadership.
- Assists with quarterly and annual reporting requirements by preparing audit support, PBC schedules, and financial analyses that support external reporting and compliance activities.
- Analyzes customer account trends, reserves, concessions, and collection performance to identify issues, summarize findings, and support informed business decisions.
- Collaborates with Commercial Finance, Treasury, Risk Management, Customer Service, Accounting, and Digital Technology teams to resolve accounting issues and support process improvements.
- Participates in process improvement and automation initiatives using Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIA), AI tools, and other reporting technologies to improve efficiency and strengthen financial controls.
- Creates and enhances analytical reports, models, and dashboards that improve visibility into Accounts Receivable performance, working capital, and operational metrics.
- Supports internal and external audits by preparing documentation, responding to audit requests, and maintaining compliance with established accounting policies and internal controls.
- Contributes to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives within Shared Services Accounting, supporting enhancements to Accounts Receivable processes and reporting.

Controllership & Risk Management: Identifies compliance gaps or anomalies in financial data, proactively addresses minor control issues, and supports risk mitigation efforts in collaboration with more senior team members.
Educational and Experiential Background
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience.
Preferred Experience
CPA/CMA or MBA/Master’s Degree in Accountancy a plus.
Prior Oracle EBS R12 experience, particularly AP and/or AR modules
Working Conditions & Travel Requirements
Working conditions are typical for an office environment.
