Description
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of assigned Storage projects, ensuring quality, scope, schedule, cost, communication, resource management, risk mitigation, and customer satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, subcontractors, and joint venture partners on assigned projects, managing their expectations and relationships related to project performance.
- Coordinate communication across all organizational areas affecting the scope, budget, risk, and resources of assigned projects, including Supply, Factory, Logistics, Commissioning, and Legal.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures, coordinating with the HSE and assigned Site Managers.
- Assist in estimating project costs and developing schedules, then take primary responsibility for their control. Maintain and report project budget and payment status monthly to the Project Administration Leader.
- Provide weekly project status and performance reports to the Administration Leader and other stakeholders.
- Promote transparent communication and the use of project management tools, following the standards defined by the Administration Leader.
- Lead and support assigned Site Managers, ensuring field execution stays aligned with project schedule, quality and safety requirements.
- Support the Fulfilment-to-Maintenance handover process for assigned projects, coordinating with the FSE Supervisor ahead of Substantial Completion.
- Schedule site visits to review advancements according to each project phase, and visits with stakeholders when needed.
- Fulfill other assigned tasks as needed by the project scope.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as project engineer, planning and project management support role, for utility-scale projects or portfolios, preferably in the renewable energy or battery storage sector.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, technologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore or equivalent).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
- Learning and adaptability capacities to be involved in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in different stages simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Empathy and a customer-focused approach.
