Tendering Executive

Manpower is seeking to recruit a Tendering Executive (construction / MEP)  for our client. This role will have a pivotal role in ensuring the coordination of all aspects concerning the tendering process.

Main responsibilities:

• To review tender specifications, bill of quantities, and design drawings of mechanical-related projects;
• Prepare comprehensive tender submissions within specified deadlines.
• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms where appropriate.

Skills, Qualifications & Attributes:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.
• Past experience in tendering, estimating, quantity surveying, or commercial roles within the construction or MEP industry.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with quantity take-offs and cost estimation.
• Must have experience with AutoCAD, Word & Excel Software.
• Experience working with contractors in Malta or Europe is considered an asset.
• Familiarity with public sector tendering processes in Malta.
