We are looking for a Lead/Senior SAP BW Engineer with 12+ years of SAP engineering experience and deep expertise in SAP ECC, SAP BW, and SAP Data Services (BODS). The ideal candidate has led complex end-to-end data migration projects to AWS S3/Databricks, is highly skilled in designing SAP extractors and migration workflows, and can provide technical leadership while mentoring engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key requirements:
- 12+ years of SAP engineering experience, including SAP ECC and SAP BW data migration
- Strong expertise in SAP ECC/BW data models and standard & custom SAP extractors
- Hands-on experience with SAP Data Services (BODS), including workflow design, delta processing, and error handling
- Experience migrating data to AWS S3 and Databricks
- Ability to validate data quality and reconcile full and delta loads
- Leadership experience with mentoring engineers and guiding technical decisions
- Strong communication skills and experience working in Agile teams
Main responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end migration of SAP ECC and SAP BW data to AWS S3 and Databricks
- Design, develop, and optimize SAP extractors and BODS workflows
- Configure and troubleshoot integrations with external platforms
- Ensure migration quality through reconciliation and data validation
- Collaborate with Databricks Engineers and stakeholders
- Mentor team members and drive technical best practices
Team DescriptionWe're looking for a Senior SAP BW Engineer to lead hands-on data migration work from SAP ECC and SAP BW into AWS S3 / Databricks. You'll set the technical direction for extraction and data services work, work closely with Databricks Engineers, and help guide less experienced engineers on the team.
