Job Description: 

The Role and Impact  
As a Facilities Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain industrial instrumentation and automation systems essential for supporting facilities operations, manufacturing, labs and other stakeholders. Your role will involve troubleshooting and optimizing existing systems while also creating new control solutions to improve performance and reliability. Your scope also focuses on Building Monitoring System (BMS), PLCs, Control Valves and Monitoring sensors. By playing a key role in ensuring seamless functionality of critical systems, you will directly contribute to enhancing operational efficiency and maintaining Intel's high standards of performance and innovation. 
 
Business group  
The Facilities Engineering team focuses on delivering robust engineering solutions that support Intel's manufacturing and facilities infrastructure. This group is dedicated to maintaining and optimizing systems that ensure operational excellence, reliability, and sustainability across Intel's facilities. The team collaborates across disciplines to support Intel's broader mission of driving innovation and advancing technological capabilities. 
 
Key Responsibilities  
- Design, develop, and maintain industrial instrumentation systems for facilities operations.  
- Troubleshoot, calibrate, and program analytical instrumentation to ensure optimal performance and functionality.  
- Develop and modify control systems to enhance system reliability and efficiency.  
- Conduct root cause failure analysis and implement solutions to address and rectify issues.  
- Prepare engineering assessments and provide technical direction for construction designs.  
- Manage projects within defined cost and time constraints, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and quality standards.  
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including design engineers, operations staff, and external contractors.  
- Assistance in procurement processes will be required 
- Analyze data, create reports, and provide consultancy support on technical matters. 

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications  
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field with 2-5 years of hands-on experience in instrumentation and controls  
- Familiarity with instrumentation measuring devices such as pressure, temperature, humidity, and flow sensors.  
- Experience with industrial automation platforms, such as GE Cimplicity, Rockwell Automation Logix PLC products, and SCADA systems, is highly valued and will be added advantage.  
- Ability to interpret instrumentation installation drawings, PLC Logic diagrams, and interface systems for PLC/SCADA.  
 
Preferred Qualifications  
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in both individual and team settings.  
- Effective communication skills, including written reports and verbal presentations.  
- Knowledge or exposure to Mechanical, Electrical, and Facilities Overall Process systems for troubleshooting and integrating control changes will be added advantage
