Description
Pay & Earnings
- Base Pay: $1.15 per mile (includes $0.30/mile accessorial pay)
- Stop Pay: $20 per stop (excludes first & last stops at the DC)
- Load Bonus: $50 bonus per load
- Orientation Pay: $500
- Weekly Average: 6–7 loads per week (avg. 5.5 stops per load)
Schedule & Home Time
- Home Daily
- Shift Duration: 6–12 hour shifts (average 8 hours/day)
- Days Off: 1 set weekend day + 1 floating weekday off per week (during non-peak)
- Start Times: Vary between 7:00 PM and 4:00 AM (bulk of loads dispatch between 10:00 PM and 4:00 AM)
Route & Duties
- Operating Area: Regional delivery within a 200-mile radius of Livonia, MI (primarily Eastern MI and Northern OH; optional KY and IN lanes available upon request)
- Equipment & Freight: Refrigerated trailers; touch freight involving electric pallet jack unload with some hand unloading required
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Minimum 12 months of verifiable Class A CDL driving experience
