Talking Tadpoles is seeking a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant who is passionate about growing thoughtfully in their clinical practice, values strong relationships with the families they serve, and is interested in being part of a collaborative, supportive team.
Note: Hours 8 a.m. - 6:30 p.m, Monday through Thursday
We are a growing private practice with multiple locations and offer flexible scheduling, including 4-day workweek, to support work–life harmony.
Growth opportunities may include:
- Ongoing clinical mentorship and collaboration
- Development of specialty areas (familiarity with AAC, early intervention)
Responsibilities
- Provide pediatric speech-language therapy in accordance with evidence-based practice and clinic guidelines
- Work with Supervisor on individualized plans of care based on assessment findings
- Deliver patient care within scope of practice and demonstrated clinical competencies
- Educate and communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
- Assess patient and family learning needs and provide appropriate instruction and support
- Document daily notes, and patient progress accurately and timely in the EMR
- Participate in nterdisciplinary collaboration
- Attend required meetings, trainings, and in-services
- Support quality improvement and clinic initiatives as needed

- Ability to arrive to assigned locations on time and maintain regular, reliable attendance.
- Ability to work scheduled hours
- Meticulous attention to detail over the course of the workday
- Ability to sustain physical and mental activity throughout a scheduled workday
- Ability to remain calm and professional in emotionally charged or high-stimulation environments
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30–40 pounds occasionally
- Ability to maintain prolonged standing or sitting
- Ability to maintain required licensure, certifications, and eligibility to work in the United States throughout employment
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, twist, and reach throughout the workday
- Other duties as assigned.
Compensation
- Competitive compensation commensurate with experience, caseload, and role
- Multiple pay structures available (hybrid, clinical hourly, or per-visit, depending on position and schedule)

Qualifications
- Current Texas SLP-A license with no disciplinary actions
- Pediatric experience preferred but not required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate professionally with clinical and administrative teams
- Commitment to ethical, family-centered care
- Bilingual preferred but not required
Clinical mentorship and onboarding support are available for clinicians building experience.
