Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
This position is based on‑site and requires four days per week in the Brea office to support collaboration and business needs.
The Manager, IT ERP - SAP Supply Chain serves as Envista's senior functional authority for SAP supply chain capabilities across Materials Management (MM), Warehouse Management (WM), Logistics Execution (LE), Logistics General (LO), Quality Management (QM), Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO), Supply Network Collaboration (SNC), Global Trade Services (GTS), cross-application components, and SAP label printing. The role translates complex procurement, planning, warehousing, logistics, quality, trade, and regulatory requirements into solution direction across a global, multi-brand SAP environment.
This role provides functional governance rather than hands-on configuration, directing the Managed Service Provider (MSP), reviewing and approving functional designs and system changes, setting delivery priorities, and holding partners accountable for quality, controls, and service performance across the supply chain domain.
The position partners with Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality, Trade Compliance, Manufacturing, Internal Audit, IT Compliance, and other ERP stakeholders to protect end-to-end process integrity, strengthen harmonization and audit readiness, and advance the supply chain P2D roadmap and S/4HANA transformation.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
SAP Supply Chain Functional Governance
Serve as the primary internal functional authority across the supply chain SAP domains, translating business requirements into functional specifications and solution direction for MSP development and configuration teams
Review, validate, and approve functional designs, configuration documents, test scripts, and solution proposals produced by the MSP across all in-scope module areas
Lead requirements gathering, process analysis, and fit-gap assessments for change requests and project initiatives affecting MM, WM, LE, LO, QM, APO, SNC, GTS, cross-application components, and label printing
Govern integration between supply chain modules and adjacent SAP areas, including PP, SD, and FI/CO, to maintain consistent and controlled process, master data, and document flows
Govern advanced planning and supplier collaboration processes, including demand planning inputs, supply network collaboration, and global available-to-promise, directing the MSP on design and issue resolution
Provide functional oversight for GTS processes, including sanctioned-party screening, customs management, export and import controls, and trade compliance across operating geographies
Govern cross-application components, including document structures, classification frameworks, master data standards, and batch-related processes
Oversee SAP label-printing governance within WM, including label design, output determination, and integration with label-management solutions
MSP Governance & AMS Oversight
Act as the functional escalation authority for supply chain P2D incidents, enhancements, and projects, directing the MSP on resolution approach, solution design, and acceptance criteria
Set priorities for MSP resources within the supply chain domain, review work outputs, and enforce quality, delivery, and service-level standards
Lead recurring MSP governance reviews, address service or quality gaps, and escalate delivery risks as appropriate
Oversee user acceptance testing and sign-off for supply chain P2D system changes before deployment
Drive continuous improvement across procurement cycle time, inventory accuracy, warehouse throughput, trade compliance, and planning effectiveness
Roadmap & Landscape Rationalization
Define and maintain the supply chain P2D functional roadmap aligned with operational and digital strategy, prioritizing harmonization, simplification, and capability improvements across the brand portfolio
Represent the supply chain P2D workstream in S/4HANA rollout and enhancement initiatives across business units from blueprint through hypercare
Support acquisition integration by assessing acquired-company supply chain SAP configurations and directing harmonization into the Envista landscape
Drive cross-brand standardization of purchasing, inventory, warehousing, planning, and logistics processes by identifying configuration variations and directing scalable improvements through the MSP
Partner with Manufacturing P2D and O2C functional SMEs to support end-to-end alignment across Plan to Deliver and Order to Cash value chains
Develop and maintain process flows, business requirements, functional specifications, standard operating procedures, and training materials across the supply chain domain
Mentor business analysts and junior functional resources supporting the supply chain domain
Controls, SOX, Trade Compliance & Audit Readiness
Ensure supply chain P2D processes adhere to Envista internal controls, SOX requirements, and applicable trade and regulatory standards
Maintain disciplined change management, including change freezes around close and audit periods, and ensure complete, audit-ready documentation for supply chain-impacting system changes
Ensure GTS processes support applicable export and import regulations, trade sanctions, and customs requirements across operating geographies
Support GxP validation activities for applicable supply chain system changes, including QM inspection processes, batch management, validation protocols, and change control documentation
Partner with Internal Audit and IT Compliance on walkthroughs, control testing, remediation, and audit readiness for supply chain configurations and master data
