At CORE II, a Shift Lead helps set the tone for a team that clients can count on. You’ll guide staff through each shift, keep operations running smoothly, and provide hands-on client support when needed, helping create a positive environment where teamwork is strong and meaningful progress can happen.

Pay: Range starts at $20.65/hour (pay is calculated based on years of related working experience) 

Shift Differential: Additional $2.00/hour when clocked in for 3+ hours between 3:00pm - 11:00pm

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 12:00pm (noon) – 8:00pm

Job Summary

The Shift Lead supports program leadership with the supervision of work activities during assigned shifts. The Shift Lead ensures that team members have the resources and support to perform their jobs successfully. The Shift Lead possesses sufficient knowledge and skill in their respective function and utilizes this knowledge and skill to train, coach, and supervise team members. The Shift Lead actively encourages a culture of collaboration and teamwork.

Essential Functions

• Supervises the work activities and expectations of a team during assigned shifts
• Promotes a culture of strong performance and high morale
• Ensures the completion of operational goals within required timelines
• Ensures compliance with agency policy, procedure, and operational expectations
• Performs client care responsibilities including targeted case management, medication distribution, client transportation, etc.
• Completes tasks and projects as assigned by Team Lead or Program Manager
• Coordinates with program leadership to ensure shift coverage; provides on-call coverage as assigned
• Follows agency documentation policies for all phases of treatment, including assessments, care plans, treatment transitions and discharge plans, and client care
• Collaborates with internal and external multidisciplinary teams regarding clinical aspects of treatment
• Adheres to ethical and legal standards set by licensing boards and state regulations
• Meets direct care expectations
• Participates in ongoing professional development activities to meet licensure, certification, and/or other agency requirements

Requirements

 Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Six months of direct care experience

Licenses/Certificates

• Case Manager certification as required by program (Post-hire as needed — required within 120 days of start date) 
• CPR certification (Post-hire)
• Valley de-escalation certification (Post-hire)
• Driving positions require a minimum age of 21 and a current driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of behavioral health experience
• Previous supervisory experience
