Transportation Specialist    (Weekend Day Shift) – In Office

Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday

Hours: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM

You’ll serve as a key connection between drivers, customers, and internal teams, helping manage freight, support drivers, resolve challenges, and deliver outstanding service. Every day is different, and every decision you make helps keep our business moving forward.

What You'll Do

Fleet Management

• Build strong, trust-based relationships with drivers.
• Support drivers with safety, service, technology, and operational needs.
• Help balance driver satisfaction and productivity while meeting company expectations.
• Quickly address and resolve challenges that impact service or productivity.

Service Management

• Enter and manage load information.
• Schedule and coordinate pickup and delivery appointments.
• Communicate proactively with customers, shippers, receivers, and drivers.
• Monitor load progress and ensure accurate estimated arrival times.

Production Management

• Dispatch loads to maximize customer service and driver productivity.
• Manage trailer availability and equipment utilization.
• Coordinate routing requests and trip planning.
• Minimize downtime while maximizing operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience preferred.
• Transportation, logistics, dispatch, or fleet management experience is a plus but not required.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to prioritize and adapt in a constantly changing environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range starts at $50,000 to $66,000.   Base salary offered is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, and geographic location as compared to others doing substantially similar work. In addition to the base salary, employees may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which can vary depending on individual and/or company performance. Total cash compensation range of this position is $60,00 to $79,200
