The Anamet Plant Operator within our factories is also known as a Water Treatment Operator and they monitor all perimeters surrounding wastewater treatment and our factory flume water/ponds systems.

Principle accountabilities include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for pond inspections, examples: pond levels, pump inspections, setup temporary pumping stations and hoses to manage pond water.

• Collects samples and operates laboratory equipment, performs analytical tests – percent solids, settling, pH and other analytical tests with accuracy for monitoring wastewater processes.  Performs related recordkeeping.

• Monitors water treatment-system operation – aerobic, anaerobic, flume clarifier and the methane system to maintain operating targets.

• Performs miscellaneous mechanical duties, examples: change valves, gauges, etc., as required to ensure maximum operating efficiency.

• Adjusts process flow to maintain efficient operation of all water systems in accordance with established guidelines and safety rules.

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or a GED certificate is required.

• Individuals are required to take a Mechanical Aptitude Test and Basic Skills Test to verify basic skills and knowledge.          

• Must take the state required training and obtain license within 18 months.

• Able to read, write and communicate effectively.

• Must have a valid driver’s license.

$27.36 - $27.36 /hr
