Responsibilities
- Lead all daily service department operations.
- Drive profitability through effective labor sales, technician productivity, and expense management.
- Coach, mentor, and develop Service Advisors, Technicians, Dispatch, and support staff.
- Monitor and improve CSI, manufacturer metrics, and online reputation.
- Ensure efficient scheduling, workflow, and shop capacity utilization.
- Review financial statements and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain compliance with manufacturer standards, warranty requirements, OSHA regulations, and California labor laws.
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain top service talent.
- Build strong relationships with customers while resolving escalated concerns professionally.
- Collaborate with Parts and Sales departments to maximize dealership performance.
- Minimum 5 years of automotive dealership management experience.
- Strong understanding of dealership fixed operations.
- Proven record of increasing gross profit, CSI, technician efficiency, and departmental performance.
- Experience managing multiple advisors and technicians.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong understanding of dealership management systems (DealerTrack experience preferred).
- Valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
