Objective of the position:

 Analyze and review the accounting and financial operations of the fixed assets cycle within DVCM to ensure they are recorded accurately and in a timely manner. Act as a business partner to the various areas involved in fixed asset operations, providing timely and relevant information to support informed decision-making.

Analyze financial information and perform the corresponding accounting entries related to fixed asset activities across the different locations of the DVCM Group, in strict compliance with current applicable policies, standards, and regulations.

Ensure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of the financial information generated in reports for both internal and external purposes (including MIF for DTAG, financial statements variances, local authority requirements, assets in progress, external affairs requirements, accounting depreciation, among others), enabling management to make decisions in accordance with applicable IFRS.

Main Functions:

• Analyze monthly accounting records to verify that fixed asset postings and applications are recorded in the correct period. Provide high-quality financial information for the fixed assets accounting cycle in DVCM and ensure that all investments are included in the annual depreciation planning submitted to Controlling
• Monitor Assets under Construction (AuC) in coordination with internal stakeholders, derived from multidisciplinary investment projects across DVCM locations, to ensure proper accounting treatment. Communicate findings and observations resulting from this monitoring in a timely manner.
• Support month-end fixed asset account reconciliations and related activities to ensure that balances presented in the financial statements are accurate, complete, and aligned with applicable accounting standards, serving as a reliable basis for financial management and strategic decision-making.
• Support activities related to internal and external audits conducted by authorities or external auditors, including the review and generation of documentation and evidence for internal controls governing fixed asset operations, to ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
• Maintain proactive communication and ownership by addressing, managing, and following up on non-standard transactions related to fixed asset operations, including asset disposals, Santiago rulings, fixed asset losses (sinisters), temporary asset transfers, donations, and other exceptional cases.
• Ensure the Consolidation in a monthly basis, the information related to electronic accounting, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements regarding fixed asset investments and acquisitions.
• Support users during the physical inventory and reconciliation process of all DVCM fixed assets, acting as a business partner to ensure accounting records align with current accounting requirements and that financial information matches the physical fixed asset inventory records
• Prepare and update documentation for new or existing policies and/or processes. Collaborate with business partners to identify opportunities for process and system improvements, and maintain accounting systems and advanced analytical tools in accordance with the role’s responsibilities.
