Site Quality Control Specialist
As a Site Quality Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance across our manufacturing operations. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help develop, implement, and maintain robust quality systems that support customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Essential Job Functions
- Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the site Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and EFfCI GMP requirements.
- Assist in implementing and sustaining quality and product safety programs, including HACCP, risk assessments, traceability systems, contamination control, and hygiene practices.
- Participate in internal, supplier, customer, and third-party certification audits and support the timely closure of audit findings and corrective actions (CAPAs).
- Execute quality decision-making authority for raw materials, packaging components, in-process materials, finished products, procedures, and quality-related changes.
- Partner with Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, EHS, and Regulatory teams to embed quality, GMP, and product safety standards into daily operations.
- Manage supplier quality activities, including raw material and packaging approvals and vendor complaint investigations.
- Monitor quality performance indicators and support continuous improvement initiatives through trend analysis, risk assessment, and management review processes.
- Promote a strong quality culture through coaching, training support, and active engagement within manufacturing areas.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Microbiology, Quality Management, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
- Experience within a quality, quality control, quality assurance, food safety, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, specialty chemical, or related manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, and/or EFfCI standards.
- Experience participating in audits, inspections, investigations, and corrective action management.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and risk-assessment skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Proficiency in quality documentation, records management, training systems, and data integrity practices.
US Compensation Statement
The expected salary range for this role is 80-85k annually, but specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
This role is also eligible to earn a short-term incentive bonus and the following benefits: 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, paid holidays and paid sick leave.
