The Warehouse Solutions Consultant is responsible for selling, planning, coordinating, and executing warehouse solutions projects from sale through completion, with a strong focus on budget management, gross margin performance, technician utilization, and customer satisfaction. Warehouse solutions include dock and door, racking, guard rail, modular offices, mezzanines, cranes, automated equipment (stretch wrappers, sweeper/scrubbers, etc.) and other warehouse products. The role is also responsible for sourcing systems projects and automated solutions (VLMs, AMRs, AGVs, AS/RS, fixed robotics etc.) and driving these projects as required. This role reports directly to the Industrial Solutions Director and collaborates closely with the Engineering and Warehouse Solutions departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Sell warehouse solutions, including dock and door equipment, rack, guardrail, mezzanines, modular offices, cranes, industrial fans, automated stretch wrappers and sweeper/scrubbers, and other warehouse solutions projects, products, and systems.
· Source automated solutions (VLMs, systems, AMRs, AGVs, AS/RS, etc.) projects and help project manage and sell these proposals as required by management.
· Project manage warehouse solutions projects from sale through completion, ensuring work is executed safely, on schedule, within scope, and aligned with customer expectations.
· Assist with the management and day-to-day operations of field technicians that are servicing and installing dock and door systems including levelers, doors, restraints, and seals, as well as installing and servicing rack, guardrail, fans, and other industrial solutions.
· Collaborate with engineering on project and systems designs; provide specs, measures, and boots-on-the-ground support in the field.
· Provide forklift and service leads to the Equipment sales teams.
· Develop, monitor, and control project budgets with accountability for labor efficiency, cost control, and overall job profitability.
· Collaborate closely with vendors, accounting, sales, and management to ensure accurate scheduling, billing, and job closeout.
· Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and close deals.
· Support other sales members by providing technical expertise, job walks, scope development, and execution planning during the pre-sale and quoting process.
· Meet regularly with sales management to report on territory performance and forecast future sales.
· Use CRM as required to log activity, record contacts and customers, and develop quotes and proposals.
· Stay current on company products, installation standards, and industry trends to ensure best-fit solutions and continuous improvement.
· Manage additional operational initiatives, construction-related projects, and other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
JOB REQUISITES:

Education/Training/Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or related field preferred.
· 3+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in warehouse solutions, dock and door or material handling.
· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a field-based role.
· Strong understanding of sales techniques, customer relationship management, and territory development.
· Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics) to manage leads and track performance.
· Formal sales training (e.g., Sandler, Challenger, SPIN Selling) is a plus.
