Summary of Job Duties:
The Rehab Therapy Aide assists licensed therapists with patient care by preparing patient/supplies/equipment, assists during therapy session, and with post-procedure clean up. Maintains inventory & monitors department equipment. Performs clerical duties. Assists with therapist assignments in the EHR, charge reconciliation, & answering phones.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED plus 1 year patient care, administrative, customer service or related experience
Once hired, must be fitted for, capable of donning & performing routine tasks in PPE to include N95 mask, PAPR, or CAPR.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience as a Rehab Therapy Aide
Experience in an acute care setting
2 years computer experience

Responsibilities:
Promptly assists therapists with patient care procedures by preparing patient/supplies/equipment, competently assisting during treatment, performing exercises programs established by licensed personnel if applicable, and performing post-procedure clean up.
Maintains clinic inventory, ensuring that supplies, educational materials, forms, etc. are stocked sufficiently at all times.
Performs clerical duties such as charge reconciliation, order management, and statistics/data entry, and assigning therapists in the EHR if applicable,
Performs routine clinic maintenance according to department guidelines and Maintenance Log, ensuring that items on log are completed promptly and clinic/treatment areas are neat/orderly.
Adheres to UAMS/Department policy for attendance; reports for all scheduled shifts on time and completes shift duties.
Other duties as assigned.
