Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking an Engineering Co-op Student to support manufacturing, test, and engineering operations through the application of AI, machine vision, automation, and data analytics.
The successful candidate will work on projects that improve quality, productivity, and efficiency by automating repetitive tasks, streamlining reporting and analysis, and developing practical AI-based solutions for manufacturing and inspection processes. A key focus of this role will be working with and deploying an AI-powered camera inspection system used to automate final product inspection and pass/fail decisions.
Key Responsibilities may include
- Develop AI and automation solutions for engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Develop tools to automate repetitive tasks, reports, and data analysis activities.
- Analyze manufacturing and test data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Support development and deployment of manufacturing machine vision and image analysis and test applications.
- Document and maintain solutions for long-term use and support.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Systems Design, or a related program.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in AI, machine vision, automation, and data-driven engineering.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with machine learning, computer vision, or image processing.
- Familiarity with data analysis, databases, or dashboard development.
- Exposure to manufacturing, test, or automation environments.
- Experience with Python, C# or similar programming languages.

Salary Range:
$46,100.00-$61,400.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
