About The Role

• The Mater Hospital has an innovative and progressive Orthopaedic department with some surgeries utilising Robotics. There are 3 orthopaedic wards, including our rehabilitation ward. We care for patients following knee and hip replacements, shoulder, spine and foot surgery as well as sports injuries.

• Our experienced team of health care professionals, care givers and support staff are equipped to provide the highest level of therapeutic, medical and surgical services.

• We are one of Australia's leading orthopaedic hospitals and the only Australian hospital to be admitted into the International Society of Orthopaedic Centres.

About You

Essential Criteria:

• Current AHPRA registration.

• Bachelor’s in nursing

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Orthopaedic Rehabilitation nursing.

• Demonstrated ability to evaluate and deliver quality patient care.

• Demonstrated commitment to professional development.

Desirable:

• Previous Orthopaedic or rehabilitation nursing experience.
