Joint Implant Surgeons of Florida (JISF) is a physician-owned private medical practice specializing in Orthopedics, Spine, and Pain Management. We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team.

Our therapists work closely with our physicians to deliver individualized, high-quality patient care. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping patients regain function, takes pride in their clinical skills, and values a collaborative work environment.

What You’ll Do

As an Occupational Therapist at JISF, you will help patients restore function, improve mobility and regain independence through individualized treatment plans.

· Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.

· Provide effective, evidence-based occupational therapy, including hand and upper-extremity rehabilitation as appropriate.

· Design and fabricate custom orthoses and splints.

· Collaborate directly with physicians and other members of the clinical team to coordinate patient care.

· Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, activity modifications and activities of daily living.

· Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

· Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records and billing documentation.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Required qualifications

· Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

· Current Florida Occupational Therapist license.

· Strong communication, organization and time-management skills.

· A patient-centered approach and commitment to excellent care.

· Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative clinical team.

Preferred qualifications

· Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) or actively working toward certification.

· Experience in orthopedic or hand therapy.

· Advanced training in custom orthotic fabrication, manual therapy and therapeutic exercise.
