This role is based in Beloit, WI (On-Site). Join a collaborative, innovative, and safety-focused manufacturing team where you'll work alongside Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality professionals to support world-class fermentation and recovery processes.
Where You'll Make a Difference
- Operate fermentation and downstream recovery processes using both field equipment and Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
- Prepare, clean, sanitize, and set up manufacturing equipment in accordance with established SOPs and batch requirements.
- Execute batch operations, collect process samples, and maintain accurate production and process documentation.
- Coordinate daily production activities by addressing scheduling priorities, equipment issues, and process challenges.
- Support equipment reliability through maintenance coordination, work order initiation, and troubleshooting activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve plant performance, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
What Makes You the Right Fit?
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Commitment to Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards and safe work practices.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic computer systems.
- Ability to work at heights, climb stairs and ladders, lift up to 55 pounds, and wear required PPE, including respiratory protection.
How Would You Stand Out?
- Associate degree or higher in a scientific, technical, engineering, or related field.
- Three or more years of experience in biotechnology, fermentation, chemical processing, food manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or industrial production environments.
- Knowledge of industrial safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory requirements.
