Job Description

As a Security Officer Reception Operations Full Time in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will be a welcoming, visible presence, assisting visitors, managing access, monitoring activity, and responding to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will use computer or tablet systems to support daily operations while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and building staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Staff the front desk and manage visitor access by greeting guests, verifying credentials, issuing access badges, and maintaining accurate visitor records.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, and relevant building systems, reporting suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Assist with tenant and visitor inquiries, provide directions, and help to deter unauthorized access within the commercial property.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
