Description
Building an onshore high yield / distressed credit capability will enable the firm to:
- Capture incremental revenue pools in both primary (via GCM) and secondary markets
- Expand coverage across a broader client risk spectrum (including sponsors, structured credit and special situations investors)
- Improve competitiveness versus peers who have already scaled in this segment
- Provide local risk insight and execution support to global desks (SSG / SPG), which will become increasingly relevant as India opportunity sets deepen
