Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Digital Reports in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology and media campus by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and report relevant information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and provide directions or assistance to guests and personnel.
• Communicate professionally with site leadership, emergency responders, and Allied Universal personnel regarding security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Possess a guard card or license preferred.
• Able to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
