Description

About Our Client

Our client is a Singapore-based boutique M&A consulting firm working directly with founders and investors globally.

About the Role

We're looking for a Deal Advisory Consultant to work remotely, with in-person meetings or overseas travel as required, combining hands-on technical analysis with genuine business development ownership. This role suits a professional who has already proven they can do both: someone who built a strong technical foundation early in their career at a top-10 accounting/professional services firm and has demonstrated the ability to deliver sales/BD results as they advanced, whether they remain at that firm today or have since moved on.

You'll be the primary point of contact for founders and investors, building and growing relationships, while also personally reviewing financial models, valuations, and pitch materials to catch inconsistencies before they reach a client conversation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with founders and investors across global markets
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities; this role carries real sales ownership, not just relationship maintenance
  • Personally review pitch decks, financial models, and valuations for accuracy, red flags, and deal fit
  • Translate technical findings into clear, credible client conversations
  • Manage the full arc of a client relationship from first contact, through technical review, to ongoing advisory and repeat business
  • Travel for in-person client meetings or overseas engagements as required.

Required Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Experience as a Manager (2nd year) or Associate Director (1st year) at a top 10 accounting/professional services firm; candidates who have "risen through the ranks," starting with strong technical delivery and demonstrating the ability to hit sales/BD targets as they were promoted
  • Specialization in valuation and/or mergers & acquisitions preferred
  • Track record of personally delivering sales or business development targets, not just supporting others' pitches
  • Strong critical thinking, able to independently identify inconsistencies or unsupported claims in financial and business data
  • Solid Excel modeling and PowerPoint/report-writing skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Comfortable working across a global environment with different cultures, time zones, and communication norms.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.

Strongly Preferred

·       Degree/qualification in Accounting, Finance, CFA, CVA, CA, ACCA, or Financial Engineering

What Our Client Offers

  • Competitive salary package
  • Profit-sharing eligibility from Assistant Director level; a significant differentiator, as most firms reserve profit share for Partner level only.
  • Your earning potential grows directly with the business you help bring in and deliver.
  • Flexible working hours, with the autonomy to structure your day around global client engagements.
