About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Warehouse Operations to lead and continuously improve our distribution and warehouse operations across our family of luxury home brands. This executive leadership role is responsible for developing operational strategy, driving world-class execution, and building high-performing teams that deliver exceptional service to our customers.
The VP of Warehouse Operations will oversee all warehouse functions, including receiving, inventory management, fulfillment, logistics coordination, safety, labor planning, and continuous improvement. This leader will partner closely with Sales, Customer Service, Production, IT, Finance, and Executive Leadership to ensure operational excellence while supporting the company's continued growth. What you can do for us:
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for warehouse operations across multiple facilities and brands.
- Lead all warehouse functions including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, returns, and logistics coordination.
- Build, coach, and develop warehouse leadership teams while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.
- Establish and monitor key operational metrics including productivity, inventory accuracy, order accuracy, shipping performance, labor utilization, and customer service levels.
- Drive Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance operational performance.
- Partner with IT and Operations teams to optimize warehouse management systems (WMS), automation, reporting, and technology solutions.
- Develop labor planning strategies that align staffing levels with seasonal demand and business growth.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, Finance, Product Development, and Executive Leadership to support business initiatives and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, capital expenditures, and operational investments while maintaining financial discipline.
- Lead large-scale operational projects including facility improvements, process redesign, capacity planning, and warehouse expansion initiatives.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations, including experience leading leaders.
- Proven success managing high-volume warehouse or distribution center operations.
- Experience developing and implementing operational strategies that improve efficiency, productivity, and service levels.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse management systems (WMS), and ERP platforms.
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets, labor planning, and operational performance metrics.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience within furniture, home furnishings, manufacturing, consumer products, retail, or distribution environments is preferred.
