OVERVIEW
The Lending Transformation Project Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of strategic initiatives within the Commercial Lending business. This position involves providing project management expertise across multiple workstreams, driving key program objectives, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring the successful execution of a growing portfolio of transformational projects.
The ideal candidate will possess strong relationship management and consulting skills, with the ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization effectively. They will work closely with cross-functional teams, engage with senior stakeholders, and utilize project management methodologies and tools to ensure project success while operating in a flexible team environment.
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Contract Length: 12 months, with the possibility of extension or conversion to FTE
Hours: 9am-5pm, with overtime requirements
Pay: T4 $72-76 / IC: $82-87
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct large-scale, complex projects involving multiple internal and external constituents and matrix partners.
- Define, plan, orchestrate, and deliver assigned strategic projects, ensuring all components are delivered effectively.
- Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, collaborating with matrix business, corporate, and IT partners to oversee all phases of the project.
- Build and sustain day-to-day relationships and communications with stakeholders at various organizational levels, including executives.
- Ensure end results meet high standards with a clearly articulated scope and quantifiable business benefits.
- Establish clear linkage between the business vision/context and the project scope and objectives.
- Chair regular core team and key governance forums to review progress with key constituents.
- Represent project interests in various governance and inter-department forums.
- Manage project scope rigorously to achieve commitments within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters.
- Define and track project milestones while developing and maintaining an overall integrated delivery plan.
- Develop project artifacts including charters, integrated plans, resource plans, and contingency plans, complying with enterprise standards.
- Monitor and control project progress, proposing recommendations and adjustments to the Accountable Executive.
- Publish periodic project status reports and contribute to improving best practices within the project management community.

- Experience with project management tools such as Clarity, MS Project, and SharePoint repositories.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, including Clarity, MS Project, and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with systems development life cycle (SDLC) principles, if applicable.
PREFERRED
- Knowledge of commercial lending and banking operations.
- Proven project delivery experience in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Hands-on, pragmatic approach with the confidence to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes.
