BE THE DIFFERENCE

At AIA we don’t simply believe in being ‘the best’. We believe in better – because there’s no limit to how far ‘better’ can take us. Everything we do is driven by our purpose to make a difference by helping people embrace Healthier, Longer, Better Lives. And every one of our people has an important role to play. If you want to make a difference by helping shape a healthier, better-protected Australia, read on.

The Opportunity

Join AIA’s Shared Value team and help turn complex data into strategic insights that drive business performance, customer engagement and wellbeing outcomes. Supporting AIA Vitality, AIA Embrace and other Shared Value initiatives, you’ll use advanced analytics, predictive modelling and data storytelling to understand the drivers of customer behaviour, behaviour change, program effectiveness and commercial performance.

This is a commercially focused analytics role where you will influence strategic decision-making, proposition development, partner reporting, business cases and growth opportunities. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to measure Shared Value outcomes across engagement, wellbeing, retention and commercial performance, while using experimentation, evaluation and behavioural science principles to identify what drives meaningful customer and business impact.

To do this successfully you will

  • Turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that influence business decisions and drive customer, wellbeing and commercial outcomes.
  • Use advanced analytics, regression modelling, segmentation and predictive analytics to identify trends, opportunities and the drivers of customer behaviour and business performance.
  • Measure program effectiveness and Shared Value outcomes across engagement, behaviour change, wellbeing, retention and commercial performance.
  • Apply experimentation, intervention evaluation and behavioural science principles to understand what drives behaviour change and improved wellbeing outcomes.
  • Support strategic initiatives including proposition development, partner reporting, business cases and commercial opportunities through evidence-based insights.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, leading analytics conversations and partnering effectively to shape decisions and deliver meaningful solutions.

Successful applicants will demonstrate

  • Experience in analytics, data science or a related field, with the ability to transform complex data into strategic insights and business outcomes.
  • Strong technical capability across SQL, R, Excel, Python, Databricks and data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience developing predictive models, regression modelling, segmentation analysis, statistical analysis and causal inference to understand customer behaviour and business performance.
  • Experience developing and evaluating programs, campaigns, experiments or customer interventions, with a strong understanding of impact measurement, outcome evaluation and behavioural science principles.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence decisions through clear data storytelling and lead analytics conversations with senior stakeholders.
  • Commercial acumen and a proactive mindset, with experience supporting proposition development, business cases, partner reporting and strategic initiatives that improve customer engagement, wellbeing and business performance.
