Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Validation: Perform post‑silicon validation of automotive Ethernet products, including PHY and switch devices, in a bench laboratory environment Compliance: Implement and execute standard electrical compliance testing to verify product performance and adherence to specifications Characterization: Conduct analog characterization testing based on application and customer requirements Testing: Perform PVT (Process, Voltage, and Temperature) validation on devices under test (DUT) Analysis: Analyze test data and prepare clear summaries of results, findings, and recommendations Debugging: Support analog design engineers with issue investigation, debugging, and root cause analysis Automation: Develop and utilize Python scripts to automate test equipment and DUT control, improving testing efficiency and productivity Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 0–5 years of experience in post‑silicon validation or related bench testing environments Programming: Familiarity with Python or other programming languages, with the ability to quickly learn and develop Python-based automation solutions Protocols: Knowledge of Ethernet, SerDes, and PCIe technologies is preferred Debugging: Strong hands‑on troubleshooting and debug skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues Detail Orientation: Highly detail‑oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in testing and analysis Communication: Ability to clearly communicate test results, findings, and issues in an accurate and timely manner Instrumentation: Experience using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, VNAs, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, and digital multimeters (DMMs) Documentation: Ability to read and interpret datasheets, PCB schematics, and industry standards/specifications Learning Agility: Self‑motivated with the ability to quickly learn new technologies, tools, and processes independently Available to Work Onsite: This position will require you to be 100% onsite Additional information Infineon Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
