Role: Payroll Subject Matter Expert
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team at BP Business Sol (HC). This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and efficient payroll operations, leveraging your expertise to optimize processes and support our global workforce.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in projects implementing Agility core practices within payroll operations. Apply Analytical Thinking to identify and resolve complex payroll discrepancies and process inefficiencies.
- Foster strong Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including HR, finance, and third-party vendors.
- Exhibit excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain complex payroll concepts and procedures.
- Drive Creativity and Innovation in developing new payroll solutions and improving existing processes.
- Contribute to Customer Service Design to enhance the payroll experience for employees.
- Oversee and ensure best practices in Data Management for all payroll-related information.
- Perform Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) activities for payroll data, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Maintain a Global Perspective on payroll regulations and practices across different regions.
- Ensure strict adherence to Information Security protocols for sensitive payroll data.
- Proactively manage and implement change initiatives related to payroll systems and processes.
- Develop and maintain effective Managing strategic partnerships with payroll service providers.
- Apply deep Organizational Knowledge of BP's structure and policies to payroll operations.
- Lead and support Project and programme management initiatives within the payroll function.
Essential Qualification and Experience:
- Graduation Degree or equivalent with Proven experience as an India Payroll SME with a 8-10 years of experience in payroll role.
- Demonstrated expertise in Agility core practices.
- Strong Analytical Thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional Collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A track record of Creativity and Innovation in process improvement.
- Experience with Customer Service Design principles.
- Proficiency in Data Management and ETL processes (Extract, Transform, and Load).
- Understanding of Global Perspective in payroll operations.
- Knowledge of Information Security best practices relevant to payroll.
- Experience in Managing change within a complex organizational environment.
- Ability to effectively manage strategic partnerships.
- Strong Organizational Knowledge.
- Proficiency in Project and programme management.
