What you’ll be doing
Hitachi is seeking an experienced and technically accomplished senior technical consultant – Cybersecurity to support strategic cybersecurity initiatives across Europe. This role combines technical consulting, enterprise security architecture, trusted advisory, and solution design. Approximately half of the role will be dedicated to acting as the Technical Principal for a strategic banking customer.
The role will also be responsible for:
Strategic Customer Consulting
Act as a trusted cybersecurity advisor for enterprise customers across Europe.
Build long-term relationships with executive stakeholders, CISOs and Security Architects.
Translate business challenges into cybersecurity transformation roadmaps.
Design end-to-end cybersecurity solutions.
Cover SOC, MDR, IAM, Zero Trust, GRC, Data Protection and Incident Response.
Advise on governance and regulatory compliance.
Support NIS2, DORA, ISO 27001, NIST CSF and GDPR alignment.
Participate in assessments, gap analyses and remediation planning.
Technical Principal (Strategic Banking Customer)
Serve as the Technical Principal for a strategic banking customer.
Support Zero Trust architecture initiatives and security strategy development.
Support security compliance initiatives within financial services.
Develop and validate Zero Trust strategies.
Review security architectures and recommend improvements
Seek for a new opportunities for Hitachi Group within strategic banking customer in area of cybersecurity as a response to customer needs.
Business Support
Support Sales teams as a senior technical advisor.
Prepare SoWs, proposals and executive presentations.
Contribute to RFP/RFI responses and business growth initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with Sales, Delivery and Consulting teams.
Mentor colleagues and contribute to methodology improvements.
What you bring to the team
We’re looking for a team player, who is motivated by delivering great work and the Hitachi vision.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and background:
7+ years in Cybersecurity Consulting, Technical Consulting, Security Architecture or Advisory.
Strong knowledge of SOC, SIEM, MDR, EDR/XDR, IAM, Zero Trust, GRC and Data Protection.
Experience with Microsoft Security, Splunk, Google Security/SecOps or similar platforms.
Knowledge of DORA, NIS2, ISO 27001, NIST and GDPR.
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, SABSA, TOGAF or ISO 27001 are advantageous.
Additional Requirements
Fluent Polish and strong English communication skills.
Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills.
Willingness to travel across Europe (~25%).
