Position: PS SW Engineer, Java/C++ Developer

Location: Belgrade

The PS Engineer role is hands-on requiring analytical, architectural and design skills in addition to programming ability and a commitment to Product quality through thorough testing, sound practical design and review. Involved in all aspects of the Product life cycle from requirements gathering, analysis, design, review, development and iteration / refactoring of Product enhancements (including leading small teams where appropriate) to providing assistance to the project delivery teams in either a Product Support or Consultant capacity.

The professional we are looking for is an experienced software developer skilled in Java with at least 5 years of experience in development.

Other important skills that will be of great help to excel in this role are:

• Proven working experience in Java development
• Experience in analysis and capturing client and internal requirements
• Experience in payment industry
• Unit and integration testing experience
• Excellent knowledge of object-oriented design pattern
• Experience in building web pages with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Good knowledge of C/C++
• Experience with Atlassian stack, Maven, Git and Gradle
• Working experience in a Scrum team
• Advanced English speaker
• Good understanding of modern AI concepts, including AI agents, prompt engineering, skills/tool orchestration, and the practical application of generative AI technologies
