About the Role:
The Senior Manager HR Business Partner (HRBP) role at Disney is a unique opportunity to shape the employee experience and drive organizational success within the Disney Experiences segment. This position is based in Singapore and supports Disney Cruise Line Singapore and Walt Disney Maritime Japan. As a strategic HR leader, you will partner with senior leadership to deliver integrated HR services, including talent management, organizational effectiveness, change management, and leadership development. Your contributions will help bring Disney's magic to life for Cast Members and Guests alike.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Manager HRBP, you will play a pivotal role in aligning HR strategies with business goals while fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving organizational health and employee engagement across diverse teams. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, prioritization, and the ability to inspire and develop others.
- Provide strategic HR leadership and consultation to anticipate emerging business trends and implement innovative HR solutions.
- Provide HR leadership for Singapore-based Crew Operations and Labor functions supporting the Disney Adventure, spanning day to day shipboard operations, workforce management, and labor alignment.
- Lead the setup and stand up of the Disney Cruise Line Maritime Japan office, including establishment of HR infrastructure, processes, and local partnerships aligned with DCL standards and regional requirements.
- Drive knowledge transfer and key information sharing related to shipboard operations in Japan, ensuring effective coordination, continuity, and alignment across partners and stakeholders.
- Design and execute strategies to enhance organizational, team, and individual performance.
- Collaborate with HR functional partners to implement human resources strategies that support future business growth.
- Carry out talent management processes to identify and address current and forecasted talent needs.
- Deliver HR solutions to clients, ensuring seamless integration of functional partner initiatives.
- Maintain business literacy to provide consultative HR solutions and influence leadership decision-making.
- Inspire individual and business success by clarifying organizational vision and strategies.
- Define strategies, expectations, and priorities to empower teams to pursue solutions for immediate and future challenges.
- Provide continuous coaching and feedback to set teams up for achieving collective goals.
- Develop self and others by encouraging exploration of ideas and skillsets.

Required Qualifications:
- Proven strategic HR leadership experience with 7+ years in human resources and 3+ years in leadership roles.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of developing and inspiring others.
- Proven consulting and change management experience.
- Excellent strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to influence and partner within a diverse organization to drive business results.
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience in the cruise or hospitality industry.
- Ability to travel internationally.

- Proven Disney Company functional HR experience.
