Product Owner, Charles River Front Office Support – Fidante
Take Ownership of a Critical Front Office Platform
Fidante is entering a significant new chapter, with the implementation of Charles River and State Street Alpha reshaping how investment teams, operations and service providers work together.
As part of this transformation, we're building the team that will support, evolve and ultimately own the new operating environment long after implementation is complete.
This role will play a key part in ensuring Charles River continues to deliver an effective, scalable and business-aligned front-office platform across multiple investment affiliates.
About the role
As Product Owner, Charles River Front Office Support, you'll be the primary business-facing owner of Charles River across Fidante's investment teams.
You'll work closely with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Operations, Technology teams and external service providers to support front-office workflows, drive platform enhancements and ensure the investment platform continues to evolve alongside business needs.
This role combines platform ownership, stakeholder engagement, change delivery and continuous improvement within a sophisticated investment management environment.
Key responsibilities
Act as the business owner for Charles River front-office functionality
Provide day-to-day support to investment teams using Charles River
Support onboarding of new instruments, workflows and front-office capabilities
Manage change initiatives, system upgrades and feature releases
Act as the primary contact for Charles River defects and platform issues
Coordinate issue triage, prioritisation and resolution
Gather and prioritise business requirements and enhancement opportunities
Coordinate testing, implementation and adoption of new capabilities
Build strong relationships across investment, operations and technology teams
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who combines deep Charles River expertise with a strong understanding of how front-office investment teams operate.
You'll bring:
Demonstrated experience supporting, administering or owning Charles River IMS/CRIMS within a funds management or asset management environment
Strong understanding of front-office trading, portfolio management and investment workflows, with the ability to engage credibly with Portfolio Managers, Traders and investment stakeholders
Experience in platform ownership, platform support, business analysis, product ownership or investment technology
A track record of driving platform enhancements, process improvements and user adoption
Strong stakeholder management (including vendor management) skills, with the ability to build relationships across business, technology and external service providers
A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for optimising investment platforms and user experience
Why join?
This is an opportunity to become the long-term owner of a critical investment platform within a business that is investing heavily in its future operating model. You'll have genuine influence over how the platform evolves while working closely with investment teams across the Fidante network.
