IT Support & Help Desk
- Serve as the first point of contact for routine employee technology issues.
- Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, browsers, printers, peripherals, cameras, microphones, and related applications.
- Assist employees with password resets, account lockouts, MFA and Microsoft Authenticator.
- Resolve common workstations, connectivity, software, and user-access problems.
- Escalate advanced infrastructure, networking, security, or server issues to the Senior Systems Administrator.
- Document support issues and resolutions through Meta Care's IT ticketing system.
- Coordinate IT setup for new employees located throughout the United States.
- Prepare and track laptops and other equipment.
- Conduct remote Day 1 technology onboarding.
- Configure Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, shared mailboxes, email signatures and standard applications.
- Assist users with MFA and Microsoft Authenticator enrollment.
- Configure standard Meta Care bookmarks and applications.
- Coordinate access to systems such as UltraVisit, ADP, eFAX and other company applications.
- Configure telecommunications applications and test cameras, microphones and remote connectivity.
- Execute documented employee offboarding procedures, including account/access changes and equipment recovery under established IT policies.
- Maintain accurate onboarding/offboarding and equipment records.
- Perform routine Microsoft 365 user administration.
- Assist with users, licenses, groups, shared mailboxes and permissions.
- Support Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint users.
- Assist with MFA enrollment and routine identity-management tasks.
- Administer security-awareness training and scheduled phishing-simulation campaigns under the direction of IT leadership.
- Maintain documentation and assist with periodic access and account reviews.
- Assist with routine NUSO user and phone configuration.
- Set up new users and assigned telephone numbers.
- Configure standard routing, voicemail, hunt groups and failover rules using established procedures.
- Train new employees on the NUSO communications application.
- Maintain Meta Care's telephone-number and routing inventory.
- Escalate complex telephony and routing issues to the Senior Systems Administrator.
- Maintain accurate laptop, monitor, accessory and other technology asset records.
- Coordinate equipment preparation, shipping, assignments and returns.
- Inspect returned equipment and prepare equipment for reuse.
- Track warranty and replacement information.
- Help maintain standardized workstation configurations.
- Assist Meta Care leadership with podcasts, webinars and video presentations.
- Configure microphones, cameras, lighting and recording software.
- Assist with recording Teams/Zoom/video sessions.
- Perform basic editing of recorded video and audio.
- Prepare and upload approved content to YouTube and other designated platforms.
- Assist with titles, descriptions, captions, transcripts, thumbnails and scheduling.
- Maintain an organized archive of company video and audio content.
- Provide technical support during management presentations, webinars and recordings.
Required
- 1–3+ years of IT support, help-desk, desktop support or Microsoft 365 experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365.
- Familiarity with Outlook, Teams and OneDrive.
- Experience troubleshooting common computer and user problems.
- Comfortable working with remote employees.
- Strong customer-service and communication skills.
- Organized and able to follow detailed checklists and procedures.
- Able to work independently and know when an issue should be escalated.
- Comfortable learning new software and cloud-based systems.
- MFA/Authenticator administration experience.
- Microsoft 365 administration experience.
- Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD familiarity.
- Experience with VoIP or business telephone systems such as NUSO, RingCentral, 8x8 or similar.
- Experience with remote-support tools such as Splashtop.
- Basic cybersecurity/security-awareness experience.
- Experience running phishing simulations or security-awareness campaigns.
- Healthcare or HIPAA-regulated environment experience.
- Experience recording or editing podcasts, webinars or YouTube videos.
- Familiarity with basic video/audio editing tools.
