Description

Job Description:

Onni Group's hospitality division operates a multi-brand portfolio of hotels, extended-stay properties and restaurants across North America — including Level Hotels & Furnished Suites (14 properties across 6 cities), Opus Hotel, The Emily Hotel, Steveston Waterfront Hotel, Villa Torre Bianca, and food & beverage concepts such as Solette, CAPO & The Spritz, Dialtone Coffee + Wine Bar, and Fora.

The Sr. Hospitality Marketing Manager leads strategic planning and execution of marketing activities across that portfolio, in multiple markets and across multiple Onni asset portfolios. It is a hands-on senior role: you set the annual and seasonal plans, run paid media and CRM programs, own social content, reputation and listings, lead influencer and brand partnerships, act as the marketing partner to property leadership and F&B teams, and help hire and mentor the marketing staff who support day-to-day delivery. You will be equally comfortable presenting a campaign strategy to executives and drafting a Revinate one-time campaign the same afternoon.

Perks:

  • Competitive pay & a Comprehensive Benefits Package.

  • Benefits include company-paid extended health care, dental care, vision care, life insurance, critical illness, and critical life insurance.

  • Annual Education Allowance

  • Generous Referral Program

  • Fun & collaborative company culture with lots of team building events

  • Local discounts to restaurants, clothing stores, personal training, and more

  • Free access to a fully equipped gym

  • Friends and Family rates for hospitality brands.

What You Will Do:

Brand & campaign strategy

  • Build and own the annual marketing plan for each hotel, extended-stay and F&B brand in the portfolio, aligned to occupancy, ADR and cover targets.

  • Develop seasonal and promotional campaigns end to end — offer construction, booking and stay windows, creative, landing pages, distribution and post-campaign reporting.

  • Maintain clear brand positioning, voice and visual standards across a portfolio where brands sit at very different price points and audiences.

  • Lead marketing for new property, restaurant and amenity openings, from pre-opening buzz through to launch and stabilization.

Paid media & performance marketing

  • Plan, launch and optimize paid campaigns across Meta and Google for multiple properties and business units, managing budgets and pacing across several ad accounts.

  • Report on performance against booking pace and revenue, and reallocate spend based on results rather than habit.

  • Manage the marketing budget: forecasting, purchase approvals, invoice tracking, and monthly credit card and vendor reconciliation with the accounting team.

CRM, email & loyalty

  • Own the guest email program in Revinate — promotional sends, automated and transactional campaigns (pre-arrival, confirmation, OTA and parking/transit instructions) — and Toast-based email for F&B outlets.

  • Build and grow the hospitality loyalty program, including structure, member communications and reporting.

  • Keep guest data, segmentation and list hygiene in good order across brands and systems (HMS/PMS, Revinate, Toast).

Influencer, creator & partnership marketing

  • Source, vet and negotiate creator and media collaborations, assessing brand fit before committing inventory — and declining gracefully when a fit isn't there.

  • Coordinate comped stays and hosted visits with property and revenue teams, setting expectations on inventory, upgrades and deliverables.

  • Develop cross-brand partnerships and co-branded programs with external brands, from concept through to merchandise and asset delivery.

  • Plan and host media nights, launch events and press previews, and manage the resulting coverage and content.

Digital and physical presence & distribution

  • Own hotel and restaurant websites: content accuracy, offer pages, SEO/AEO basics, and vendor or agency management on builds and redesigns.

  • Manage business listings and map presence (Google, Apple, etc.), including verification, imagery and accuracy across all properties.

  • Work with OTA and channel partners (e.g. Expedia) on merchandising opportunities, market insights and co-op campaigns.

  • Oversee brand asset libraries — photography, video, logos — and commission new shoots as properties and menus evolve.

  • Keep on-property signage current across all properties and outlets — designing new and replacement signage, and sourcing vendors for production, shipping and installation.

Team & stakeholder leadership

  • Mentor marketing coordinators and specialists, setting priorities and reviewing work before it goes out the door.

  • Act as the marketing point of contact for General Managers, on-site teams and third-party operators, running regular check-ins and translating property needs into marketing plans.

  • Manage external agencies, designers, photographers and print vendors against scope, timeline and budget.

  • Keep work visible and on schedule in Asana across dozens of concurrent property and F&B projects.

What You Will Bring:

  • 3+ years of marketing experience, with meaningful time in hospitality, hotels, extended-stay, or restaurants. Multi-property or multi-brand experience is strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated ownership of a marketing budget, including paid media spend and vendor reconciliation.

  • Hands-on platform fluency: Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads and Analytics, a hotel CRM (Revinate or equivalent), a restaurant marketing platform (Toast or equivalent), OTA extranets, and a PMS/HMS.

  • Strong commercial instincts — you can read an occupancy or covers report and know what the marketing response should be.

  • Excellent written communication. Much of this role is persuasive, diplomatic writing: creator negotiations, partner emails, guest-facing copy.

  • Comfort operating across head office and on-property teams, and with the pace of a private, owner-operated business where decisions move quickly.

  • Experience managing or mentoring junior marketers.

  • Project management discipline and a high tolerance for parallel workstreams.

  • Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, business or hospitality, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience utilizing AI platforms such as Claude, ChatGPT, Higgsfield, etc. is required — used to work more efficiently across content production, reporting and day-to-day workflows.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience marketing food & beverage concepts alongside accommodation.

  • Cross-border marketing experience across Canadian and U.S. markets.

  • Pre-opening or launch marketing experience for hotels or restaurants.

  • Loyalty program design or management.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THE FIRST YEAR

  • Annual marketing plans and calendars in place for every property and F&B outlet, with clear owners and measurable targets.

  • Paid media consolidated and reported on a consistent cadence, with spend tied to booking and revenue outcomes.

  • A functioning, measured CRM program — automated guest journeys live and accurate for every property.

  • A repeatable influencer and partnership process with documented brand-fit criteria and inventory guardrails.

  • Property leadership describing marketing as a responsive, strategic partner.
