What You'll Do
As a Medical Assistant, you'll work alongside our providers to deliver exceptional patient care while helping create a welcoming and positive experience for every patient.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Taking and documenting manual vital signs
- Performing routine blood draws and venipuncture
- Administering intramuscular and subcutaneous injections as directed by the provider
- Maintaining lab equipment and ensuring accurate documentation
- Running in-house labs and preparing specimens for outside facilities
- Managing lab orders, quality controls, and results
- Completing weekly inventory and assisting with ordering supplies
- Supporting front desk operations when needed
- Building positive relationships with patients and providers
- Maintaining a strong work ethic and contributing to a team-focused environment
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, comfortable interacting with patients, and ready to be part of a fast-paced healthcare team.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy certification preferred, but not required
- At least 3 months of relevant medical experience performing phlebotomy, injections, and vitals OR documented completion of 180 externship hours
- Ability to perform venipuncture and IM/subcutaneous injections highly preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must be flexible with late hours and occasional weekends
Clinic Hours
Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
