Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Building Access Control in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism and care. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a welcoming environment through teamwork and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a healthcare technology location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain required logs, and support site access-control procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
