GreenSheen Paint Driver – Full Time Rochester, New York.

In partnership with state stewardship programs like PaintCare and municipal agencies across New York, we process millions of pounds of architectural coatings annually, diverting usable material from landfills into high-performance, eco-friendly recycled paint products. POSITION OVERVIEW:
Based out of our Rochester facility, this role manages regional logistics, dedicated pickups, and transport operations throughout the Greater Rochester, Buffalo, and Finger Lakes regions. Drivers will safely operate company vehicles, complete scheduled pickups and deliveries, and represent GreenSheen professionally at every stop. Customer interaction is a key part of this position - we take pride in the service we deliver alongside our product.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely operate 26' straight trucks in full compliance with DOT regulations and GreenSheen safety standards.
- Complete scheduled logistics pickups, regional transport runs, and transfer staging across Western and Upstate New York.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, electronic logging, and load documentation with strict accuracy.
- Safely load, stage, and secure palletized materials using manual pallet jacks, liftgates, and forklifts.
- Maintain high-trust, professional interactions with municipal site coordinators, transfer station personnel, and commercial partners.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A) with a clean MVR.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience operating commercial 26' straight trucks or larger vehicles.
- Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and operate warehouse material-handling equipment (forklift certification a plus; training provided).
- Strong schedule discipline, time management, and commitment to project timelines.
- Professional demeanor suitable for direct public and municipal stakeholder engagement.
- Flexibility for occasional Saturday shifts to support high-volume weekend county collection events.
COMPENSATION & WHY GREENSHEEN:
- $36.00 – $37.50 per hour based on verifiable commercial driving experience.
