Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine operational monitoring of internal and/or external energy sources, electrical equipment, load/demand, meters, and supply continuity; identify and promptly escalate abnormalities or outage risks.
- Supervise field operation, inspection, and maintenance of energy facilities and electrical infrastructure in accordance with approved schedules, SOPs, HSE/environmental requirements, and applicable regulations, including safe work permits and isolation/LOTO.
- Control and supervise tenants, contractors, and other parties involved in energy use or electrical work within IKIP, including connection/energization activities, metering, consumption checks, housekeeping, and corrective follow-up.
- Execute first-line troubleshooting and outage/emergency response; maintain operational logs and technical records, and provide recommendations to the energy superintendent on repairs, spares, maintenance, and asset improvements.
- Conduct pre-job briefings/toolbox meetings and verify work readiness, competency, PPE, permits, and safety controls before field activities begin.
- Coordinate daily work with infrastructure, OHS, environment, tenant relations, operations administration, tenants, and contractors.
Maintain inspection sheets, meter logs, maintenance history, drawings, spare-part records, and handover documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- Possessing 3 years of professional experience in electrical system maintenance or the energy sector.
- Possessing certifications in Energy Management, SMK2, AK3 Umum, and AK3 Listrik.
- Knowledge of energy management systems / ISO 50001 is an advantage.
- Preferably experienced in industrial estates, mining, mineral processing, heavy industry, utilities, and/or remote-site operations.
- Hands-on field exposure to electrical distribution, substations/transformers, protection, metering, switching/isolation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, as relevant to assigned assets.
- Competency certification in electrical operation and maintenance.
Working knowledge of Permit to Work, LOTO, electrical switching/isolation, job safety analysis, and emergency response. - Strong field supervision, troubleshooting, maintenance execution, inspection, metering/logging, and technical reporting skills.
- Good coordination, communication, contractor supervision, discipline, and problem-solving capability.
