Swing Shift Forklift Operator

 

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Swing Shift Forklift Operator role in Vancouver, WA. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. Pay: $22.15/hour + $0.50/hour swing shift differential
Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move raw materials, finished products, and other materials throughout the facility.

· Load and unload trucks, trailers, and other delivery vehicles while ensuring materials are handled safely and accurately.

· Transport materials to designated production, warehouse, and storage areas as needed.

· Inspect forklifts and material handling equipment before use and promptly report any equipment issues or safety concerns.

· Verify incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy and ensure products are properly labeled and stored.

· Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with tracking materials and finished products.

· Follow all safety protocols and maintain clean and organized warehouse and production areas.

· Collaborate with production, shipping, receiving, and warehouse team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

· Accurately complete required paperwork and documentation related to material movement and inventory.

· Promptly report damaged products, inventory discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to supervisors.

 

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent; prior forklift or material handling experience is preferred.

· Previous experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment is preferred.

· Ability to safely operate material handling equipment and work in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or move for extended periods.

· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.

· Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.

· Ability to reliably work the 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM swing shift.

· Forklift certification is preferred, but training may be provided.
