Responsible for supporting Healthcare Services Group (HSG) Bankers and leadership in delivering banking solutions to for-profit healthcare services clients. Responsibilities include financial analysis and modeling, credit support, client and prospect research, presentation development, and participation in client-facing engagements. Supports HSG leadership through business intelligence reporting, portfolio analytics, market research, sector strategy, and business development initiatives. Additional responsibilities may include internal client management duties and special projects as specified by manager and team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.  Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below.  Specific activities may change from time to time. 

  • Works closely with HSG Bankers and vertical leadership.
  • Performs assigned duties with some independence, including financial modeling, forecasting, sensitivity analysis, credit underwriting support, portfolio analytics, industry research, and presentation development.
  • Supports client coverage activities, including preparation for client meetings, annual reviews, prospect calls, and strategic relationship planning.
  • Assists in the development of pitch materials, client presentations, industry insights, and business development materials.
  • Supports HSG leadership through business intelligence reporting, pipeline management, market analysis, competitive intelligence, and sector strategy initiatives.
  • Conducts healthcare industry research and analyzes market trends, practice consolidation activity, private equity investment, reimbursement dynamics, and other healthcare-specific developments.
  • Additional responsibilities on internal client management duties and strategic initiatives as specified by manager and team.

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree
  • Licenses: Series 79, 63
  •  Proven analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Some related work experience since graduation from an undergraduate program
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of experience in Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, Healthcare Banking, Credit Analysis, Public Accounting, Consulting, or Corporate Finance.
  • Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and credit analysis.
  • Interest in or exposure to for-profit healthcare services, to include physician and provider organizations and platforms.
