General Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for identifying and calling on prospective and existing customers for whom Treasury Management products and services would provide compelling cost/benefit.


ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  •  In depth working knowledge of all facets of      Business Online, Retail Online, Mobile Banking, Wires, ACH, Lockbox      payment processing, Bill Pay and Debit Card products from the customer      value and use of the products to bank’s operational processes.
  • Learn, administer and      maintenance all new software or upgrades to systems utilized as necessary.
  • Responsible to be a      resource to internal and external customers, ensuring the highest level of      customer service.
  • Time management skills and discipline to      keep focus on high priority prospects.
  • Understanding of basic business accounting,      billing, payables and collection processes of businesses.
  • Ability to identify and quantify      cost/benefit of Treasury Management products.
  • Ability to identify and refer prospects for      Merchant Card Services.
  • Possess consultative sales skills including the      ability to engage prospective customers to share current processes,      problems and challenges.
  • Understanding of the bank’s business model including      target customer groups, goals for revenue and related costs of services      offered.
  • Understanding of Customer profitability and      key drivers in relationships.
  • Ability to produce and present quality      proposals for prospective customers.
  • Ability to close the deal and facilitate the      opening, maintaining and monitoring of accounts on the bank’s systems.
  • Routinely follow-up with existing customers      and facilitate resolution of any issues or concerns as well seeking to      identify new business opportunities.
  • Readily work with commercial lenders and      Business Development Officers in moving over treasury management services      and deposit to be related to lending relationships.
  • Assist with entering and approving daily incoming and outgoing      wires as well as completing daily wire log and daily balancing.
  • Cross trained in all duties of the Department and tasks for      Treasury Management department as assigned.
  • Performs other duties      as required or assigned to maintain the Bank’s work and service standards.

Requirements

 Minimum Level of Education

· A high school diploma or GED. Three years of job related experience in Treasury Management functions.

· Familiar with Banking products and services.

· Knowledgeable in computer hardware and software. 

· Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office software applications that include Word, Excel, databases and the ability to integrate applications with each other.

· Internet/web server application knowledge.

· Able to utilize good judgment, demonstrate patience, and maintain a professional demeanor.

· Technical training and experience in Treasury Management functions.

· Broad knowledge of departmental balancing, operations, policies and procedures.

· Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with personnel of other departments and branches.

· The ability to operate a variety of automated and standard office equipment. 

· Ability to work in a fast paced production environment with consistent deadlines.

· Good knowledge of computer generated reports and procedures as they affect the department’s operation.

· Ability to make quick decisions.

· Ability to synthesize and act on inside and outside customer needs.
