The Opportunity

As a Business Services - AI Engineering/Data Science Intern, you will immerse yourself in the dynamic world of data science within our Internal Firm Services practice. You will engage in projects that leverage advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to extract insights and drive data-driven decision-making. As an Intern, you will support teams by participating in projects, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. You will perform basic tasks and conduct research while observing professional work environments, contributing to the team's success.

In this role, you will have the chance to work on a variety of assignments, each presenting unique challenges and scope. You are encouraged to ask questions, take initiative, and produce quality work that adds value for our clients and contributes to our team’s success. During your time at the firm, you will start to establish your personal brand, paving the way to more opportunities. Responsibilities

- Supporting data science projects by applying machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques
- Assisting in the development and implementation of data models and algorithms to extract insights
- Participating in the design and maintenance of data pipelines and data lakes for efficient data processing
- Engaging in complex data analysis to identify patterns and trends using advanced statistical methods
- Collaborating with team members to troubleshoot data science workflows and improve model performance
- Contributing to the creation of predictive models to guide data-driven decision-making processes
- Utilizing programming languages such as C++ and R to develop and refine data science solutions
- Gathering and analyzing large datasets to support internal firm services and operational needs
- Observing and learning from experienced professionals to enhance technical skills and knowledge
- Actively listening and accepting feedback to improve personal development and project outcomes

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
- Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
