This is a newly created role within Assurant’s sourcing organization, playing a critical part in the implementation and success of the Buy Desk operating model. The role is expected to operate with a high level of initiative, responsiveness, and execution discipline, ensuring that tactical sourcing needs are addressed efficiently while maintaining procurement governance.

- Coordinate supplier due diligence, onboarding, and compliance checks, including collaboration with Risk, Legal, and Operations teams.
- Support contract execution and deployment in coordination with Legal and senior sourcing stakeholders.
- Maintain complete sourcing documentation, audit trails, and intake records.
- Escalate complex, high‑risk, or strategic sourcing needs to Senior Sourcing Analysts or Category Leads.
Required Experience, Skills, and Knowledge

- Experience using procurement or sourcing tools (Oracle, Ariba, Coupa, or similar).
- Professional working proficiency in English (written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting multiple categories or stakeholders simultaneously.
- Exposure to global or regional sourcing environments.
- Basic understanding of contract terms and supplier risk considerations.
