Line Cook (Alexander's Restaurant)

Alexander's Restaurant is seeking a motivated and dependable Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, committed to quality, and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This position is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to established recipes and standards while maintaining cleanliness, organization, and food safety throughout the kitchen.

Essential Job Functions

• Prepare meats, seafood, vegetables and other items required for line and special function purposes. 
• Carefully follow standard recipes when pre-preparing and preparing all times. 
• Use food preparation equipment according to manufacturer’s instructions.
• Clean work station. 
• Return unused food products to proper storage areas.
• Assist with preparation of other food products on serving line as needed.
• Consistently use safe and sanitary food handling practices.
• Return soiled food preparation utensils and other small ware items to the proper areas.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent 
• Must be able to speak and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
