About the Role

This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in complex, cross-functional environments and enjoys connecting Finance, Corporate Technology, and implementation partners to deliver meaningful business outcomes.
As a Lead Program Manager, you will own the day-to-day execution of one or more transformation programs, ensuring projects remain on track, risks are proactively managed, and executive stakeholders have clear visibility into progress, dependencies, and business value. You'll serve as the operational backbone of the program, helping Finance leaders successfully deliver large-scale initiatives that modernize systems, processes, and reporting capabilities.
This role reports into the Finance Transformation Office Governance & Process Architecture team and requires a combination of program management expertise, financial systems knowledge, strong executive communication, and the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple organizations.
What You'll Do
- Lead the execution of one or more Finance Transformation initiatives, driving timelines, milestones, deliverables, and cross-functional coordination.
- Build and maintain program governance, including executive status reporting, steering committee materials, RAID logs, and portfolio dashboards.
- Identify, track, and proactively manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies across Finance, Corporate Technology, and external implementation partners.
- Partner with Functional Transformation Leads across FP&A, Controllership, Treasury, Tax, and other Finance organizations to ensure business requirements remain aligned throughout delivery.
- Collaborate with Corporate Technology teams and System Integrators to support successful implementation of Finance systems, data platforms, and enterprise applications.
- Monitor program health, benefit realization, and strategic outcomes, ensuring initiatives deliver measurable business value beyond project completion.
- Support organizational change management activities by partnering on communication plans, training, adoption strategies, and stakeholder engagement.
- Facilitate governance meetings, executive reviews, decision-making sessions, and cross-functional workshops with senior leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement by standardizing governance processes, templates, reporting frameworks, and program management best practices across the Finance Transformation Office.
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and transparency across all program stakeholders while maintaining focus on delivery excellence.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of program or project management experience delivering Finance Transformation, ERP, Enterprise Planning, or Data Platform initiatives within complex, matrixed organizations.
- Experience managing enterprise implementations involving platforms such as Oracle Cloud ERP, SAP, NetSuite, Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive Planning, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar technologies.
- Strong knowledge of project governance methodologies, including RAID management, RACI/DACI frameworks, executive reporting, and portfolio governance.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cross-functional initiatives while balancing competing priorities and executive expectations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to risk management.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with experience presenting program updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Experience working collaboratively with Finance organizations, Corporate Technology teams, and third-party implementation partners.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities and ambiguous requirements.
Nice to Have
- PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience supporting Finance organizations through digital transformation or enterprise modernization initiatives.
- Exposure to SOX controls, audit readiness, or IPO environments.
- Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience within SaaS, enterprise software, or high-growth technology companies.
- Understanding of Finance functions including Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Accounting, Revenue Recognition, Treasury, Tax, and Financial Reporting.
