Position Summary
Harborside Restaurant at South Seas is seeking polished, service-driven Upscale Dining Servers to deliver exceptional dining experiences in a waterfront resort setting. This position plays a key role in creating memorable moments for guests through attentive, personalized service and extensive menu and beverage knowledge.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and create an upscale dining experience.
- Present menus, daily features, chef specials, and beverage offerings.
- Provide recommendations on food, wine, cocktails, and pairings.
- Anticipate guest needs and deliver personalized service.
- Accurately enter orders into the POS system and communicate special requests.
- Serve food and beverages according to resort and fine dining standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address concerns.
- Process guest payments accurately and professionally.
- Complete opening, closing, and side-work duties.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards.
What are we looking for?
Qualifications
- One year of upscale dining, resort, hotel, or fine dining experience preferred.
- Knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and service etiquette.
- Excellent communication and guest service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Required certifications as applicable.
COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a valid driver’s license, motor vehicle background check will be completed
- Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Must be 18 years old or older to hold this role, serving/selling alcohol in state of FL
- Food Handlers Certification (must comply with State regulations)
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
- Must be able to stand/walk for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to lift, up to 40 pounds
- Must be able work in different types of weather sometimes extreme, including high temperatures and humidity.
