Join Our Team as a Service Project Coordinator
LockNet is seeking a detail-oriented, high-energy Service Project Coordinator to join our Service Department. In this role, you'll manage customer accounts with a project focus - quoting, scheduling, ordering, and resolving technical and billing issues - while working in a fast-paced environment where your organizational skills and initiative directly impact customer satisfaction and company performance.
What You'll Do
As a Service Project Coordinator, you'll make an impact by:
- Managing customer accounts end-to-end - quoting, ordering, scheduling installs, and resolving issues
- Providing detailed survey instructions to field technicians and organizing results into customer-ready quotes
- Inputting and processing customer orders via phone and email, ensuring accuracy on pricing, shipping dates, and special requests
- Coordinating with production, shipping, and warehouse teams to resolve delays and keep projects on track
- Tracking project progress through internal task management software and delivering regular status updates to customers and internal stakeholders
- Strategically collaborating with onsite technicians to deliver the right solution within scope, budget, and applicable regulations
- Researching hardware needs, reviewing orders, and following up to ensure on-time delivery and correct installation
- Compiling reports and statistics for management as needed
What We're Looking For
Strong candidates will bring:
- 1-3 years of customer service experience; background in scheduling, construction, or locks and hardware is a plus but not required
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to navigate multiple platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - clear, professional, and responsive
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Sound judgment and the confidence to make decisions independently
- Strong project management and coordination abilities
- Ability to research, understand, and apply regulatory codes
- Experience reading blueprints preferred but not required
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Discretion and trustworthiness when handling confidential information
