Our brand, Lennor Metier Consulting, a DOLE-licensed headhunting and recruitment agency in the Philippines, is proud to partner with a global insurance and brokerage company in their search for a Payroll Specialist (Shared Services) based in BGC, Taguig City.
Salary Range: Open to discussion
Work Setup: Hybrid
Shift Schedule: Shifting (Depending on the assigned region)

The role
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process for employees across the US or UK, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll delivery.
- Perform and review pre- and post-payroll reconciliations, reports, and payroll-related data to ensure accuracy and proper financial controls.
- Manage employee compensation updates, including salary changes, promotions, job changes, and mass data updates for exempt and non-exempt employees.
- Prepare and coordinate statutory reports, tax filings, and employee tax statements in line with applicable regulations.
- Monitor changes in payroll legislation, tax requirements, and employment regulations and ensure processes remain compliant.
- Partner with payroll vendors and service providers to resolve issues, manage system updates, and improve service delivery.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, Tax, Benefits, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate employee and payroll data.
- Support internal and external payroll audits and compliance reviews by providing required documentation and reports.
- Develop and maintain process maps, SOPs, and payroll documentation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency within payroll and HR processes.
- Manage time-sensitive projects and deliverables in a fast-paced, global environment.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in US or UK payroll operations, preferably within a global or multinational organization.
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end payroll processes, employee lifecycle, payroll reconciliations, and compliance.
- Working knowledge of US or UK payroll regulations, taxation, and statutory requirements.
- Experience working with payroll vendors, HR systems, and ticketing platforms.
- Knowledge of Oracle or similar HR/payroll systems
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, for reporting and data analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to create and maintain process documentation and process maps.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple deliverables and work effectively in a dynamic, global environment.
