Job Description:

 This position will be responsible to execute the implementation of holistic, innovative and progressive direct marketing strategies for institution in order to engage individual, schools/ universities, churches, and other public channels to contribute in child focussed transformational development and emergency response programs. The acquisition will be done through face to face and digital activation.

 

All staff are expected to contribute to Wahana Visi Indonesia’s Transformational Development, Advocacy, and Emergency Response approaches, and may be required to support emergency response efforts in a timely, coordinated, and accountable manner.

Strategy Development & Planning

  • Contribute in developing concepts of promoting WV program through Individual, Schools, Churches/Christian Institutions, and other public channels, both through face to face and digital activation.
  • Define needs and wants of donors to develop strategic planning for public and private partners.
  • Develop donor relationship management plan.

Resource Acquisition & Management/ Engagement/Project Management

  • Manage promotions activities to Individual, Schools/ Universities, Churches/Christian Institutions, and other Public channels to acquire new donors and sponsors.
  • Maintain partnerships with individual sponsors and institutional donor (schools/universities and churches)
  • Develop proposals that meet public donor’s interest
  • Identify potential new individual and private donors.
  • Present WV capacity to donors
  • Share information regarding program particularly conditions and needs on the ground to engage more potential donors/partners.
  • Carry out effective and efficient exposure to potential target audiences in regular basis and well-planned.

Capacity Building/ Technical works

  • Implement Public Acquisition & RDC capacity building strategy and plan in close coordination with Operations, People & Culture and Regional Office.

Accountability & Quality Assurance

  • Responsible in achieving monthly new Sponsorship Acquisition targets/goals in her/his to eventually contribute to the over-all annual local fund raising income.
  • Input and maintain database of donors contact.
  • Comply with all Organization Policies including Code of Conduct, Child Protection, Conflict of Interest, e-Mail & IT Access.
  • Ensure the prospect donors receive proper information needed to enhance their trust and loyalty and to avoid expectation gap.
  • Monitor achievement and provide monthly report, including program delays, diversions from agreed upon commitments (Design, AOP) and other changes to programming context
  • Provide services to the existing individual and private donors according to the accountability and donor’s requirement (when applicable)
  • Comply to WVIDN accountability, transparency and effective communication as evidenced by positive response in donor feedback.

Networking & Coordination

  • Build relationships with public and private partners (schools/universities, churches/ Christian institutions) and maintain the acquisition (existing donors), including organizing face-to-face interactions or events, and networking sessions/events, and others
  • Involve institutional donors in WV public events to make them more engaged with WV and increase commitment.
  • Develop new potential channel to broaden market size and market share.
  • Communicate the organization’s identity consistently and contextually in order to improve the trust of potential partners/donors.
  • Enhance entire existing channel (school, church, universities, public)

Management & Leadership

  • Develop and manage annual performance agreement
  • Submits periodical/ monthly accomplishment report
  • Build and maintain positive spirit of working in team with other staff in respective unit and department 
  • Provide Christian value and support to enrich the organization's life, faith, Christian commitments and ministry to the disadvantaged children and communities we seek to serve.
  • Be a role model and inspiration in managing work, communication and relationship with internal staff and external parties.
  • Manage all implementations and risks related to Public Acquisition according to organization policies, guidelines, and standard. This includes risks in fraud, safeguarding, and other related risks.
  • Actively participate Christian leadership and support to enrich the organisation’s life, faith, Christian commitments and ministry to the disadvantaged children and communities we seek to serve.


Requirement

  • At least 3 (three) years professional experience in marketing.
  • Strong business and communication skills are required. Knowledge of Business Marketing and Advertising is essential.
  • Requires good analytical skills and a creative and innovative thinker.
  • Requires good communication (speaking and writing) skills in English.
  • Must be a Team Player and must have Cross cultural experience.
  • Experience with non-profit organizations preferred
  • Bachelor degree in Economics, Marketing, Communications, Social Science, Public Administration or other relevant subjects
  • Fluent in English (TOEFL 500)
  • Travel: Domestic may be required. Ability to attend social weekends and evening’s events as needed
  • Possess strong donor centric service ethic and strong sense of professionalism
  • Own high integrity, personal responsibility and a commitment to constant learning

  • Strong commercial orientation with discerning interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
  • Computer literacy skills, e.g. CRM database experience, strong skills in the use of MS Office Suite; email; calendar.
